Gray Hallucigenia Sculpture

This is a clay interpretation of the Burgess Shale fossil animal Hallucigenia as it was envisioned when originally discovered, with the spine-like projections as legs. More recent specimens have shown the animal to be related to modern velvet worms, with more typical animal legs and the spines on its back.
